  Maude M. Gray, 87, Clay City, died at 2:40 a.m. Sunday in Richland Memorial Hospital. Services were held at the Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City. Burial was in Clay City Cemetery. She was born in Indiana Dec. 3, 1895 to Jackson and Maggie (Himebaugh) Payne. She married Henry Gray who died in 1968. She was a member of the Clay City Baptist Church and of the Sailer Springs American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Eugene and Ray Dean, both of Clay City; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Famie) Payne, Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Verne (Clarabelle) Kittle, Dundas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
