  William Harold Madding, 86, of Decatur, entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday January, 9 2008 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. William was born January 31, 1921 in Mt. Erie, Illinois the son of Seymour and Susan Jane Madding. He met Marjorie E. Neal in a bowling alley in Bement, Illinois and they married in 1948. To this union were born Gregory Neal Madding, Lovell Dale Madding and Pamela Jo Madding. William and Marjorie were united in marriage until her death in 1986. He later married Virginia Mae Howenstine in 1989. She resides in Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, four sisters, his first wife Marjorie, and his son Gregory.
