  Virginia M. Jennings, 77, of Flora, IL died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL She was born in Shelby County, the daughter of Fred Raymond & Ruth Delight Denier Gordon. She married Stephen Earl Jennings on Feb. 10, 1946 in Clay County. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2001. She was a cashier at Alpha Beta Store, and a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Flora, IL. Survivors include three sons, Stephen, Douglas, and Danny L. Jennings; three brothers, John, Jack Lee, and Wayne; three sisters, Doris Green, Marilyn Bissey, and Jennie Gowan; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, three brothers, and one sister. There were no services.
