  Olney, Ill. — Larry D. Eikleberry, 70, of Olney and formerly of Cisne and Joliet, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Eikleberry was born November 19, 1939, in Clay County, the son of Wayne Harmon Eikleberry Jr. and Gloria Workman. He married Karyl Hiser on December 28, 1971. She survives. He had worked as a supervisor at Caterpillar in Joliet for 35 years. Mr. Eikleberry is survived by his wife; son, Larry Robert Eikleberry; granddaughter, Krista Michele Eikleberry; sister, Connie Young; four nephews; and mother-in-law, Lois Hiser, of Olney. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Harmon Eikleberry Jr. and Gloria Workman; stepmother, Wanda Eikleberry; and father-in-law, William Robert Hiser. A private family graveside service was held at Clay City Cemetery with Reverend Gary Ryden officiating. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney was in charge of arrangements.
