  Pearletta Behnke, 79, of Flora, IL died at 2:10 AM Thursday, April 15, 2010 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. She was born October 15, 1930 in Arthur, IN to Carl & Virginia (Bartum) Grogan. She married Joseph E. Behnke. Pearletta enjoyed sewing and was a homemaker and local beautician. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Beau Knott Sunday School Class of the church. She is survived by her husband: Joe Behnke; children: Ramona Anderson, Wayne Behnke, Dean Behnke, Rose Elizondo, and Leesa Green; three brothers: Allen, A.V., and Ben Grogan; three sisters: Muda Sullivan, Carlene Neff, Roberta George; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers (Bill & Jack Grogan), three sisters (Lorena Stafford, Fawn Harned & Freda McKee). Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with Rob Clifton officiating. Burial followed in Floral Garden of Memories in Flora. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
