    • Lillian Herdes, 72, Omaha, Ark. formerly of Clay City, died in her home. She was born December 14, 1912 in Bible Grove, IL to Lynn and Mildred Wolfe Rinnert. She married Virgil Herdes on January 30, 1932 in Sailor Springs and he survives.

      She was a member of the New Hope Southern Baptist Church in Omaha, Ark. and a member of the Home Extension.

      She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Nola Lee Evans and Lora Marie Smith; a sister, Neva Wolfe; a brother, Garland Rinnert; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by two brothers and her parents.

      Funeral services were heal at Hosselton Bookhout & Engelmeier Funeral Home with burial in the Clay City Cemetery.
