• Notes

  Lorene worked as a curbie at Andy’s Drive-In in 1959 and then as a waitress and banquet room manager at the former Presto’s on Derby Street in Pekin. She had also worked at the Towers Restaurant as the night manager and waitress in Peoria before returning back to Andy’s in Pekin for 6½ years. She later worked as the evening janitor at the former Douglas School in Pekin and last worked as a prep cook at the Busy Corner in Pekin.
