  Leone Mayo Taylor, 92, of Clay City, died at 10:17 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. Mrs. Taylor was born on September 18, 1916, in Clay County, the daughter of Cleo and Edna (Wogan) Sullens. She married J.W. Casey Mayo on August 12, 1934. He preceded her in death on November 19, 1970. She married John Edward Taylor on February 3, 1973. He preceded her in death on January 15, 1997. She was a homemaker, seamstress and musician. She was affiliated with Clay City Community Baptist Church, Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Martin; son, Don Mayo; daughter, Doris Bissey; son, Jerry Mayo; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; daughter, Rita Stanley; sister, Erba; and great-grandson, Cody Mayo. Visitation was held at Summers Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City. Services were at the funeral home with Pastor Gregg Hall officiating. Burial was in Clay City Cemetery. Memorials to Clay City Community Baptist Church.
