I suppose it was bound to happen.

While experimenting with some ideas for the web-site, I managed to corrupt my database and wiped out everything.

I wasn’t overly concerned since I had a backup from the day before.

After installing a blank site, I spent about 8 hours restoring the contents of the backup. When I checked this morning, the results were…you guessed it, an empty web site. No posts, no photos, nothing.

Meanwhile, I’ll treat this as a blessing in disguise and start with a clean slate.

My rules are simple:

• No commercial advertising!
• Keep the conversations civil and family friendly
