FUNERAL FOR BOYS KILLED BY LIGHTNING Monday morning Lorenzo Trotter , father of one of the boys killed by lightning last Thursday morning , was in Flora and gave us some additional particulars of the double killing , and also the funerals held. According to Mr. Trotter the three boys were lying on the porch at the Charles Henderson home when the lightning struck , and the reason that the smaller boy was not killed was due to the fact that he was shorter and his head was out of line with the other boys. The deaths occurred in Clay County and Coroner James A. Dean of Xenia , held an inquest on Thursday. Everette Henderson , aged 11 years was buried Friday at Foster Hill Cemetery , near Mt. Zion Church , and Richard Lowell Trotter was buried Saturday at the same cemetery , he was 13 years old. George Henderson aged about 9 years is recovering . Charles Henderson is a brother of Mrs. Trotter, and the Trotter family came down from Abington and attended the funerals.
