- Owen Gray Williamson, 75, Winona, Missouri, died at 1:12 PM, Friday, October 28, 2011, at his home.
He was born May 30, 1936, at Anniston, Alabama to Ullman and Geneva Owens Williamson.
Mr. Williamson grew up in Anniston, Alabama, and was a veteran having served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
After his military service, he resided in Illinois and Georgia and later moved to Missouri.
Before his retirement, he was employed as a shipping manager for Crystal Springs Textiles, Chickamauga, Georgia. Mr. Williamson was of the baptist faith.
Mr. Williamson will be greatly missed by his friends, relatives, and especially his children. We Love you!
He is survived by six children: Diane Hanson and ScottKillpack, Winona, Missouri; Terrie Gideon, Lafayette, Georgia; Tammy Smith, husband, Robert, Harrison, Tennessee; Tina Thornton, Bourbonnais, Illinois; Karen Harris, Rossville, Georgia; and David Williamson, Chickamauga, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
His parents, two wives, Carol F. Williamson and Ruby L. Williamson, one brother, and one sister preceded him in death.
At a later date, the interment will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
