He married Joan Raber on July 31, 1949.
Jean was a used pipe dealer.
He was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a WWII U. S. Army Veteran and a Honorary Shriner.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Jennings of Olney, son, Dennis Jennings and wife, JoAnn of Olney, daughter, Debra Fehrenbacher and husband, Bart of Olney, sister, Joy Miller and husband, Glen of Olney, and grandchildren, Amy Gerhard, Lori Anderson, Angela Wong, Dana Jennings, Edward Piland, Bill Piland, Crystal Midwood, Marie Tye, Fred Kobbe, Jr., Brittany Horn, Michael Brown and Daylon Fehrenbacher. Great grandchildren, Caleb, Evan, Micah and Stacy Gerhard, Thomas Anderson, Emmett Wong, Quentin and Kaleb Midwood, Henry Tye, and Maycee and Bayley Horn and Several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 infant children, 1 daughter, Cathy Jo Kobbe, 2 sisters, Lois Wettrau and June Snider, and one brother, Charles Edward Jennings
