  Bernice Sunday, 91, of Clay City, died at 5:40 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2003, at Clay County Hospital in Flora. There will be no visitation. Graveside will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Clay City Cemetery with Doyle Williams officiating. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sunday was born on April 21, 1911, in Clay City, the daughter of Loren James and Myrtle (Harrison) Wiltsey. She married Oris Sunday on July 3, 1932, in Clay City. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was owner-operator of Sunday's Ice Cream Parlor in Clay City from 1950 to 1972. She was a member of Clay City United Methodist Church and Clay City Garden Club. Mrs. Sunday is survived by a son, Loren Sunday and his wife, Mary, of Henderson, Ky.; three daughters, Linda Yeates and her husband, Mark, of Sarasota, Fla., Lois Gidcumb and her husband, John, of San Antonio, Texas, and Anita Lake and her husband, Calvin, of Clay City; and 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Harold Wiltsey.
