CLAY CITY, JULY 20. - - This morning all that remained of the James family living five miles west of here, was found in the ruins of their home which was evidently burned during the night. The family consisted of husband, wife, daught and grandchild. It is thought either the son or the father murdered the family, set fire to the house and then committed suicide. The son was addicted to the use of whiskey and had threatened to kill the family, and the father was subject to spells of insanity.
