- Kenneth Eugene Kimpling passed away in the Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit, Wisconsin, at the age of 79, the son of clyde and A. Mildred (Badger) Kimpling. He married Maxine Wells Dickerson in 1956. He married Mina L. DeVoe on May 26, 1986 and she survived him.
He served during World War II as an Air Corps gunner and in the Korean Conflict as a aircraft mechanic.
He worked as a carpenter and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
In addition to his wife, he was survived by three children and a daughter-in-law, Rodney and Sandy Kimpling, Bobbie Jean Hess and Kendall Kimpling; a brother and sister-in-law, Ivan and Pat Kimpling; a sister-in-law, rose Kimpling; three stepchildren, Susan Frauli, Richard DeVoe and Beth Lewis; ten grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and friends and relatives from Noble, Olney and Robinson, Illinois.
A memorial service was held on June 14, 2003 in the Sun Valley Presbyterian Church in Beloit, Wisconsin.
