  Barbara Jean Tolliver, 65, of Clay City, IL, died September 26, at Covenant Hospital in Champaign. Mrs. Tolliver was born July 11, 1939, in Clay City, the daughter of Harry and Genelle Abbott Hance. She married James Richard Tolliver in Xenia July 25, 1959. She was retired from Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney working in housekeeping and was a member of First Baptist Church in Clay City. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Cynthia Hedgepeth and Trisha Hutchison; two sons, Steven and James Tolliver; one sister, Norma Franklin; one brother, Roger Hance; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister, Ruth Miller; a brother, Jim Hance; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Summers-Kistler funeral Home with burial in Clay City Cemetery. Memorials to Clay County Cancer Society. (Published Hometown Journal)
