  LOREN E. DALTON, 91, of Fairfield, IL formerly of Mt. Erie, IL passed away at 8:20AM Friday, July 17, 2009 at Richland Memorial Hospital at Olney, IL. Loren was born March 10, 1918 at Mt. Erie, IL to Daniel and Emily E. (Kinney) Dalton. He married Wanda Mae Carter April 30, 1937 at Mt. Erie, IL and she preceded him in death July 22, 1994. Loren was a Retired Horse Trader, Farmer, Construction Worker and Factory Worker. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith. Surviving Loren Dalton are 2 daughters – Lorna Mann (& her husband Roger) of Ellery, IL and Danna Sutton (& her husband Harry) of Fairfield, IL; 3 sons – Leon Dalton (& his wife Donna) of Albion, IL; Charles E. Dalton (& his wife Connie) of Benton, IL and Steven Dalton, Sr. (& his wife Tina) of Lakewood, CA. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Preceding Loren in death were his wife, 4 brothers, 4 sisters, and his parents. Funeral services for Loren Dalton will be 2:00PM Sunday, July 19th at Brown Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bro. Ralph Blevins will officiate. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday 1:00-2:00PM at the church. Memorials may be given to Richland Care and Rehab Activity Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home. ****** Son of Daniel Dolton and Emily Kinney. Loren and his brother, Wallace, used surname spelling of Dalton, where the rest of his siblings and parents tombstones spell surname as Dolton.
