She married Sam Clifford Sr in 1942 and lived in Olney, Illinois until 1961. Mildred is survived by her daughter Anne Clifford of St. Louis, Missouri, her son Sam Clifford Jr (Carol) of Tupelo, Mississippi, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her sister Marilyn Smith of Claremont and sister-in-law Rosalie McCaw of Steeleville, Illinois.
