  Pearl Billington, age 84, of Olney died Thursday, July 25, 2013. Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. Pearl was born on September 29, 1928 in Corning, Arkansas, the daughter of Kendrick Shephard and Eva (LaRue) Gibson. She married Ralph Billington and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1980. Pearl enjoyed gardening, camping, and cooking. She loved family gatherings and the time spent with family and friends. Pearl and her husband operated the Busy Bee Cafe for five years on Main Street in Olney back in the late fifties-early sixties. She is survived by her Daughter, Kay Hosselton and husband, Larry of Clay City; Son, Jack Billington and wife, Lisa of Olney; Granddaughter, Teri Herman and husband, Kim of Olney; Granddaughter, Susan Chapman and husband, Kevin of Evansville, IN; Grandson, Gary Hosselton and wife, Kristi of Clay City; Granddaughter, Hayley Billington-Nichols and husband, Chris of Edwardsville, IL; Grandson, Peyton Billington of Olney; Eight Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and two brothers.
