  Geraldine Mae Edwards died Aug. 2, 2014 at her home in Camas. She was 83. Geraldine was born July 7, 1931, to Lemuel and Emma Porter in Quenemo, Kan. She loved her family, and had eight brothers and sisters. Geraldine worked as a secretary in the aerospace industry. She was a five year resident of Camas and a member of the Baptist Church, as well as the Emblem Club of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks, lodge No. 823. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, as well as spending time gardening and with her family. She was loved by many and will be missed. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Edwards of Camas; brother, William Ragan of Kansas; sister Rita Charlene Dean of Los Angeles; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwards (2007) and her daughter Melody Lynne Langan (2001). A celebration of Geraldine's life was held Aug. 8 at the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
