  Pearl E. Dunigan, 90, of Flora, IL died at 11:52 AM Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Clay County Hospital in Flora. She was born April 2, 1920 in Clay County, IL to Hayward & Bessie (Tatman) White. She married Robert James Dunigan on September 7, 1946 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1984. She was a homemaker, attended First Baptist Church of Flora, was a lifetime member of Flora VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and was a member of Flora Eagles. Pearl enjoyed camping, sewing and gardening. She is survived by her son: Jimmie L. "Jim" Dunigan of Flora; 2 granddaughters: Amy Rogers & husband Donnie of Flora and Ashley Dawkins & husband Chris of Clay City; 6 great-grandchildren: Isbella Rogers, Jarod Sons, Brooke Rogers, Quadden Rogers, Azure Dawkins, Koby Dawkins; former daughter-in-law: Tarena S. Hayes of Flora; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother (William "Bill" White). Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Saturday (May 29, 2010) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora. Graveside Rites at Elmwood Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to that of the donor's choice.
