He was born in Alma, Marion County, the son of Hobart & Eunice Quayle Arnold. He married Nellie Bryant June 15, 1946 in Alma.
He was a farmer, a World War II Air Force veteran, and an elder of Louisville Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son Dennis; two daughters Lila Holeman & Eva Allen, 7 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ancel & Beryl.
Services were at Neal Funeral Home with military rites & burial in Oskaloosa Cemetery.
