  Obituary: Eugene Arvin Johnson, 68, of Texarkana, died at Wadley Hospital October 12. He was born Sept. 18, 1908 in Monticello, KY. He was a Baptist. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Madden Funeral Home Chapel in Ashdown. Burial will be in Dollarhide Cemtery (sic), Foreman. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice, Texarkana; one son, Delbert Ray Parnell, Ruidoso, NM; one daughter, Mrs. Dora Perry of Flagstaff, Ariz.; three brothers, Lyle Johnson of Rockport, Tex., Earl Johnson of Salem, Ill.; and Darrell Johnson of Dallas, Tex.; five sisters, Mildred Cowart of Ashdown, Jaunita Cameron of Opelousas, La., Doris of Dallas, and Shirley Browning and Kay McGowan of Atlanta, Tex.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
