Notes |
- Leon grew up around Clay City, Ill., and in his earlier years worked in the oil fields for Pure Oil Co., W.W. Toler Drilling and Robinson & Company. After moving to Bettendorf, he began work at the Riverdale ALCOA Works, retiring in 1985 after 25 years of service. He has been enjoying retirement with Firn who retired from Rock Island Arsenal. Mr. Hubble was a good old country boy who enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger days. He loved to garden and visit with his family and many friends. He especially loved a good natured tease. Leon was a member of Alcoa Retirees and the Alcoa 25 Year Club. He also enjoyed the monthly meetings with their retired Rock Island Arsenal friends.
