Earned The American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and The WWII Victory Medal. Honorable discharged as a Machinist's Mate First Class on March 17, 1946 at The Naval Personnel Separation Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Cemetery.
