  Ada Marie West Baker, age 73, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Gateway Hospital in Clarksville, TN. Ada was born on March 13, 1940 in Clay County, IL to Menford and Fern (Rumley) West. She married Ben Baker on December 15, 1955 and he preceded her in death on April 19, 1964. Ada worked as a waitress for many years and was of the Protestant faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who loved her. Ada is survived by her three children: Diana Marie Jett (Alan), Troy Lee Baker (Traci), Maria Louise Bridges (David); two brothers: David West (Judy) and James "Red Top" West (Mary); one sister: Norma Quandt; seven grandchildren: Cheryl Humphrey, Timothy Lee Judy, Shannon Alley, Scott Jett, Ian Baker, Benji Castleberry, Ethan Castleberry; a step-grandchild: Jonathan Bridges; and a number of great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers (Roy, Harvey, Ronnie and Robert West), three sisters (Mary Schnell, Betty Pearl and Sarah Jones), and a granddaughter (Crystal Judy). A graveside service for Ada Baker at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora, IL will be announced at a later date. Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora is assisting the family with arrangements.
