- Ronald Lee Tolliver, age 74, of Flora, Illinois, formerly of Louisville, passed away Thursday evening, December 2, 2021, at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born June 30, 1947, at home in rural Louisville, Illinois, the son of George and Vivian (Rinehart) Tolliver.
Ron served two years in the Army stationed in Germany in 1966-1968. He enjoyed time spent hunting, fishing, and hunting for arrow heads. He was a member of the Flora American Legion.
He is survived by his mother Vivian Tolliver of Flora; a daughter: Susie Koehler of Clay City; a son: Tommy Tolliver of Louisville; a sister: Jane (Bill) Stanford of Flora; a brother-in-law: Leo Bible of Louisville; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law: Jamey Tolliver; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; a son: Anthony Tink Tolliver; and a sister: Barbara Bible.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Hoosier Prairie cemetery with the presentation of military funeral honors. Kelly Carruthers will officiate. Those attending are asked to arrive directly at the cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
