  Mrs. T. A. Chaney quietly passed away on Monday evening, Dec. 14, 1925, at the home of her grandson, Owen Kitley, anemia being the cause of her death. Mrs. Chaney had been ill for several months and all that the skill of physicians and the loving ministrations of dear ones was of no avail. Life Is not all sunshine but thare was no burden that was too heavy for this noble woman to bear, no cloud but there was a silver lining, no cloud that hid the Master's face or that lessened her faith and confidence in her Master, but rather faith increased and she was ready to pass over the Great Divide. She will be sadly missed by her relatives and many friends. Mrs. Chaney was a member of the Journal-Record staff of correspondents. She wrote under the name of Josephus since the organization of the Flora Record In 1912, until five months ago. On account of falling health she left her home in Rinard and came to Flora to make her home with her grandson, Owen Kitley and wife. Three sons, George Kitley, of Leslie, Mich., Elmer, of Eagle Grove, Iowa; Louis, of Moscow, Idaho, and several step-children and grand-children are left to mourn the loss of their loved one. The services marking the final ceremonies over the remains of the well known woman were held at the M. E. church in Rinard, Wednesday afternoon. Interment was made In the Bunker Hill cemetery.
