- Mrs. Phillips was a member of the First Christian Church of Flora and the EverReady Sunday School Class of the church. She had been involved with Clay County Home Extension, was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a 4-H leader, and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed her companionship with her pets, loved flowers, nature and wildlife, and spending time with family and friends.
