Notes

He was a co-owner and operator of Easley and Padgett Funeral Home and Furniture Store for many years in Clay City. He was a member of the Clay City United Methodist Church, and the Sailor Springs American legion[sic] Post 840. He had also served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.
