  James R. Richardson, 67, of Olney, died on Monday, June 20, 2022 at his home. James was born on September 5, 1954 in Richland County, Illinois, the son of John Richardson and Allene (Burton) Richardson. He married Julia Nuttall on June 7, 1974 at Glenwood Church in Noble, and she survives. Jim enjoyed life and making jokes. He loved his children and spending time with them. Jim was a people person and enjoyed family gatherings and social events. James is survived by his wife, Julia Richardson of Olney; daughter, Jayla Kiser of Wynoose; son, John Richardson of Olney; granddaughter, Payton Richardson of Olney; brother, Jerry (Darlene) Richardson of Noble; sister, Eva (Rick) Toumbs of Chatham; sister, Ginger (Rick) Harper of Passport; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenny, Harold, Ronnie, Ike, Bart, and Gene Richardson; sisters, Pat Beal and Linda Harris. Cremation Rites will be accorded. Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with arrangements.
