  A Clay City resident, Mrs. Ruby Herdes, 74, died January 2, 1965 at the home of her son, Earl, near Clay City. Mrs. Herdes is survived by two sons, Earl and Denby; two daughters, Sadie Evans and Imogene Bryan; and a half sister, Margaret Fredrickson. Funeral services with Rev. Leland Hooper officiating, will be held from Lathrop Church near Clay City with burial in Smith cemetery near Sailor Springs. Easley-Padgett Funeral Home was in charge.
