Joe Burton Nease of Lake Wales passed away Friday, November 13, 2009 at his residence.

He was born February 16, 1934 in Claremont, IL to the late George & June Nease; he came here in 1978 from Tampa. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1972, after serving in Viet Nam. He was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the V.F.W.

Survivors include his wife, Anna M. Nease, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral service held at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
