Newspaper obit clipping: "Mrs. Barbara Schilt, aged 80, died Feb 27, 1914. Services were at Grand Prairie Reformed Church. Mrs. Schilt was born in Canton Berne, Switzerland and came to this country in 1851. She is survived by the following children: County Treasurer Fred W. Schilt, Chris Schilt, Mrs. Fred Sterchi, Jr., Mrs. Jacob Iaggi, Mrs. Fred Eggler, all of Olney, and Mrs. Jonas Hasler of Bloomfield, Ind." She spoke no English.
