Welcome to Charley's Portal (formerly Charley's Place)
It's purpose is to provide quick access to my many areas of interest .
My primary interest, however is researching not only my "family tree", but also the many branches that are attached to that tree.
Much of my family history centers around Clay City, Illinois and Noble, Illinois.
I am researching the surnames of Baity, Bauer, Bricker, Bugg, Frock, Graham, Gray, Hasler, Häsler, Hornick, Jauch, Kurtz, Lewis, Luke, Maglone, McDowell, McMurty, Mitchell, Patterson, Schrenk, Seyfferth, Yauch and any related families.

I have been researching and compiling my family history for many years now and have tried many different ways of sharing this information with family members and fellow researchers.
This is my most current (and hopefully, my last) location for the web-site. I know it gets old, trying to follow me around the internet as I search for the "perfect" way to share my research. I don't plan on making any more moves and I thank you for your patience over these many years.

My Family History Research has been an ongoing "part time" project for more than 20 years and some features will, for reasons of privacy, require registration for higher access.
